​Since graduating from the Royal Conservatoire in 2013 I have played at over 500 weddings and have been a finalist in eight wedding industry award ceremonies, winning three of these and coming highly commended in two. As a result of this I have a wealth of experience when it comes to helping you plan the music for your big day. Live music creates the perfect romantic soundtrack to your day and I love to take requests to make this as personalised as possible. I absolutely love playing at weddings, it is a great privilege to be a part of your most special day. Below are three parts of your Wedding Day where you might wish to consider music:


The Ceremony
For the ceremony I will play whilst the guests take their seats and await the wedding party. Live music really adds to the anticipation of the ceremony starting. I will then play for the entrance of the wedding party and Bride/Groom. This is the most exciting part of the day for me and I love to time the music perfectly to the aisle, making sure the bride/ groom walks in to the peak of the performance like a live personal soundtrack. I won't stop playing until you reach the top and are settled and ready to start. I can then play for a few different parts of the ceremony, this is different for each wedding and is chosen by you to reflect your own taste. I can, accompany any hymns, musical reflections, a guests reading or a song, I can play lightly in the background during the vows, during the quaich, sand ceremony or hand fasting and also for the signing of the register. Any other ideas you have, just let me know. I will then play as your guests stand and cheer and you walk the ceremony together as a newly married couple!  Throughout the planning stages I will liaise with you to help with your song choices, and will happily learn the music you request.


Champagne/Drinks Reception
After the ceremony I can play background music for up to two hours, whilst your guests have a few drinks, canapés and photos. I have a vast repertoire, and can tailor this part to your own taste. I like to play a selection of more upbeat repertoire for this part of the day. I have amplification so don't worry about the harp being heard, I can amplify it to the necessary volume that you prefer.


Dinner/Wedding Breakfast
Having harp music throughout the meal is very popular as there is nothing quite like a live harp in the background to create a romantic ambience your friends and family will remember. Avoid any silences as you're guests all enjoy their food with some tasteful, relaxing music in the background. I can play for up to three hours and can play you to your seats as you're welcomed to the dining room.
